For the last 10 years I've used Morris semi synthetic 10/40 car oil in my bikes.

I did 130,000 miles om my first NTV before I sold it, my second has just completed 100,000. My VFR is only on 40,000 but none of these bikes used a drop of oil between 8,000 mile oil changes despite being driven hard in all conditions.

dont use car oil,it aint good enough . Motorbikes engine and gearboxes share the same oil. Any recommendations of whats a good oil to put in my 2000 yamaha 600cc fazer?? Does anyone ever use good qaulity car oil or is that a not worth the hassel?
