anything will fit if you have the time/money. is it carb'd or injection. if its injected hardest bit will be the wiring tbh

dont forget an engine conversion will up your insurance also you need to change it on your logbook (v5) to be totally 100% legal

looking at the info i have an ca18de should fit, 1.6 engines are the E16s or I if you can find one as a lot of cars of that vintage got shipped over to africa for spares
