My first visit to the 1/4 mile strip

Well guy's I did a 1/4 mile run a few weeks back, to say I was nervous is an understatement. I ran the car in its road trim, thats spare wheel, few tools , just over half a tank of fuel etc so its  pretty much as it would perform on the road.

I did run with the window down as I had my fleece on due to the fact they would not let me run with short sleeved shirt and it was fecking hot . Here is the slip

These times will be bettered with experience, as you can see my 60ft's are a tad high, I sat on the rev limiter a little until I relised I hadnt broke her and that I needed to change up a gear  car performed well which is testement to RB Motorsports work on the car

Cheers James, car should be a low 11 sec car , just needs a better driver

Mick car is still at RB's getting the air con sorted  I'll call in yours on the way back when I pick the old girl up. Its not going to be for at least 2 weeks as they are waiting for some parts from Japan.

BTW, have you posted the spec of your car on here at all?

Money permitting I hope to be down Avon Park Raceway on 16th\17th June to better my time's.
