Headlight indicator bulb on instrument panel ?

   I have recently bought a 1999 Almera SLX as a loadlugger/runabout. Does the job nicely but have just one little niggle.When the headlights are on main beam then the little blue indicator light on the instrument panel lights up, however on dipped or side lights then there is no panel light at all. I am assuming that the little bulb in the panel needs replacing. Is this a straightforward jobbie or a pain in the backside jobbie ?
I don't suppose anyone knows of a "how to" for this ?
