Rain sensing wipers driving me nuts

   Quite simply the crappiest gadget ever.

My previous car a Merc had the same set up and was as 

annoying.

Wifes merc not to bad but still a pain.

Yesterday coming home going past a truck cant see anthing 

wipers dont wipe get past truck and they start great.

Anyone know if i unplug the screen sensot whether they will 

go back to normal intermittent wipers?

Is this fitted to all late Micras.
