micra fuel consumption

   Hi, 

I have an 03 Micra and am getting the same problem: the fuel consumption has increased enormously.

Last July I had a new throttle body, cat, Lamda sensors, you name it.

Took
 it back into the garage and they couldn't detect the problem till I 
left it overnight. Then they replaced the temperature sensor.

Went back in for it today and now the car won't even start but is getting flooded each time. 

No codes come up. The mechanic is a bit mystified.

The idle is also wrong - you have to keep revving her to keep her from stalling.

Again, any advice appreciated. Thanks.
