there has been name and shame type sub forums on vx/vw forum but these get removed due to people trying to take the owners to court

How does an order get place in UK?

I mean ok, i'm visiting UK and i'm interested in bying a car.

what steps do i follow?

In Greece there are two options.

-There is the main importer and you can also buy from him.

-There are dealers along the country, they buy from the importer

and they sell to customers.

Senario No 1 can be fullfiled in three ways:

a) The car is not at Greece at all.

You pay a deposite, car arrives a1) you pay it at once

                                               a2) you check and pay after.

b) The car is already in Greece.

                                                a1 & a2 steps

c) You want a car which is not available.

It depends on the cars nature.. for GT-R for example, you need

a specific amount of deposite and then follow senario a).

But when you bye from a Dealer, you have to pre-pay

all the cars value, before you re able to see it.

(Of course if something is not as it should be, you don't

take it with you and depends on the reason why you deny

there are several things to do..)
