Since it has to do with Spain (as for the engine, speaking..) mr.frosty is wright! (There is also a rumor for strikes, that delayed the productions there) It's worth the waiting though!

Thanks mr frosty. It's nice to know what's happening. I had
emailed Nissan customer services who are investigating and have promised to get back to me by Tuesday. Yeh, I'm really looking forward to getting the car, love my current 1.6 Note, just getting a bit impatient - but I suppose on a plus point it will have the new registration on it. |

hi gizmo, it might be correct, i work at the plant, and i know they are having engine delivery difficulties from the renault vallidaloid plant in spain, all the 1.5 diesels engines come from there. last i heard though these problems had been resolved but there will be a back log. the dealers are usually waiting for a few cars to come at one time and are in the hands of the company. i had to wait about 2 weeks extra for mine in december because of the snow, and it was true as we couldnt get the cars off site. just be patient man its worth it, cracking little motor. m |

Hi everyone
Is it common for Nissan to slip delivery dates? I had ordered a new Note 1.5 Dci N-tec, original delivery date was 17th jan, this slipped to Jan 31st and has slipped again to 1st March - am I being cynical or is this Nissan / dealer deliberately slipping delivery so that the new registration figures look good in March? |
