Y reg Almera Activ Remote Key fob

   Hi 

I have a Y reg Nissan Activ with two keys but no remote key fob. I want to get a remote fob for it. I just dislike using the key to open and close  the car especially when your hands are full with the shopping bags.
Is it possible to buy one of these key fobs on eBay and program it? 
I need all the help and info I can get and am off to read the manual....hehe.

	you should be able to no problem as long the central locking isnt faulty make sure you get the correct one tho

	To repromme the new one you need to do the following: 1. Make sure all your Nissan vehicle doors have been unlocked, either by using a good transponder key or remote control plip key. 2. Turn the ignition to the off position – BUT make sure you leave key in ignition switch. 3. After 2 seconds, the system will enter programming mode and will flash the warning lights twice. 4. Press and HOLD the unlock button on the Plip. 5. While pressing the unlock button, press the lock button 3 times. 6. Release the unlock button. 7. The warning lights will flash once to indicate successful programming. 8. Repeat procedure 4 to 7 for up to 4 plip key’s. 9. When completed turn ignition ON, and the warning lights will flash 2 times. 10. Remove key, and check all plip key’s for operation.
