Navara Alloys on X Trail

   I am at the point where i nearly need 4 x new tyres on my x trail, tyre size is 215/60/17 and they are a bit on the expensive side, for a good tyre i am looking at about �150 each. 

Would anybody know if the 17" Navara alloys will fit ok, tyre size on these will be 225/65/17. I guess that i will gain little more traction in bad weather due to the extra physical size and realise that my speedo may be slightly out and nee dto re-calibrated. I can buy a relatively new set for about �500 with tyres so will see a saving there. And i imagine that they will fill the arches a little better without me having to buy a set of 18" wheels.

	Not sure if the wheel would fit but have you checked the price of other tyres of a similar size? IE 215/65 or there abouts. When i had my P12 Primera the only maker at that time was dunlop and at 100 each and wearing them out on the front every 10 weeks i went a size down and was saving around 40 a tyre. Also the speedo was not noticebly different.
