’04 1.2 Micra Tickover Rough !,any idea?

   Hello all,
Has anyone had a problem with the idle of their micra, when hot or cold the engine ticks over erratically to the point that It will almost cut out !, I have been advised by a non nissan garage that this is a common Air flow meter and just wanted to know if this is the case or not ?, mileage is 100k,

	My wifes had a few cars and nearly every one has had a rough idle cured simply by cleaning the throttle flap with carb cleaner and a toothbrush. Remove intake trunking engine switched off! get someone to hold the throttle open and get spraying and scrubbing. Makes a big difference sometimes wont start straight away but will start. Lynall
