   Hi all Im just buying a 1.6 note and was wondering whats the score with the badging?   the v5 document says its a tekna, the car has a sve chrome badge on the rear (registered november 2007) but some notes i looked at had no badges at all but were teknas (black windows, elec mirrors etc ...is there an easy explanation.

	sve is the old spec tekna is face lift model - 12/08 onwards its a uk thing sve and the tekna are the same spec apart from the few upgraded bits in the facelift ie the connect sat nav, esp ?

	i would like to add my opinion. my car is a pre-facelift tekna on 57 plate, it doesn't have a badge at the back. so a small number of notes can be teknas but not facelifted. one thing i observed is SVEs do not have the new 6-cd changer in the dash. that along with the V5 are good indicators.

	iirc the 6 disc is an option on the sve it looks identical to the normal stereo just 2-3 extra buttons it seems some of the late pre-facelifts where reg'ed as tekna's the same as the euro spec cars

	sorry for delay in replying, my sve has leather inside, drivers armrest , 6 channel cd changer esp but no satnav

	Its an SVE if its a UK car armrests and nav where both options

	ok i am confused. mine is a UK car, with armrests and no nav. just a 6-cd changer. it also has esp. V5 says Tekna, but the back doesnt have a badge.
