Hi all, Managed to get a key for my van from an auto locksmith in glasgow at the cost of £110. I now have another problem, when i start the van it starts high reving straight away. Ive checked the accelorator cable and that seems fine. Can anyone tell me what could be causing this . The van is 51 reg 2.3 deisel.

Hi again , Checked the oil level it's spot on .  I will try plugging in the diagnostics at the weekend , and see if that throws any light on the matter. Are the idle control units interchangable ?.
