Hello everyone, I have a Nissan micra and I recently lost my keys. I can get in and out of the car as I lost the keys while it was unlocked. I managed to half hot-wire the car and use a screw driver but that has sort of messed up now so I thought it would be cool to have a push button starter on it. I was wondering if any one had a wiring diagram of the wires that come out the back of where the key goes so that I can cut and solder in some switches. I am thinking I will need 2 standard rocker switches and a spring switch that will release when I let go. These are the details of the car.
1995 (N) Nissan Micra Hollywood 998cc Petrol 3DR Manual.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Jack Taylor :)

Not got a diagram but i will say this, use a high amp handling swith other wise a standard one will burn, if it burns and sticks in the on posistion you'll cause more probs.

For a push button start your best of using a relay and a switch as you will burn a switch out plus the cost of a high amp switch will set you back a small fortune
instead of bodging it you can pick up lock set for less then 40-50 quid

Hey guys. It is all sorted. I have a 30a 250v toggle switch and a 20a 250v push switch which are now mounted in the dash board. They seem to stay cool so I am presuming they are ok now.
Thanks for the input guys :)
Jack
