Hi, can any one help me with this,
on x-mas eve my car started to smoke heavily, turned the
snow black under exhaust, then pulled /chugged while
driving home, so i taught its fuel or injector
related, with everywhere closed over x-mas i took off
diesel filter and cleaned it,changed one injector ,put in
fuel additive injector cleaner and after short drive it
seemed to clear up,got a P0006 fault Fuel Shutoff Valve
Control Circuit Low,then it was fine until 2 days ago it
started again but this time went into limp mode home,i
put on new diesel filter and air filter today,is the Fuel
shut off valve the solenoid on the diesel pump, car is
driving fine one minute then stuttering next and smoking
again, any help greatly appreciated as this car is my taxi
and i missed work over xmas over this

I think (long time since i've done one) that the fuel valve it is referring to is part of number 1 injector. Terranos used to suffer the same problem.
