After the phone call from renault to tell me they had a battery they also gave me BAD news.
they told me they have blown up my radio.it wont turn on!!! which is the satnav dvd cd bluetooth mp3 sdcard usb tv etc etc ....
They did say it was because the alternator was pushing out about 17 volts?
they have said cs will be intouch with me to find out what they intend doing about it!!!!!
so its in my kitchen now plugged in onto a battery and all it does is light up nothing else, just pretty blue lights, no screen not even the main pop out screen nothing i feel like

Renault can stick there cars where the sun dont shine.
sorry if i have offended any renault users but i have had nothing but trouble with the car..

No offense taken...!

I know how you mean it and i'm sorry for your troubles..

Renault policy (if there is any) is buy your car and good luck with it.

No after sales, at all..

First i thought, all the curses was taking place on me or my familiars.

Renault has (some) interesting models bad there is no organized

after sales policy.

Germans (group Vag, Bmw, Merc.) has this "magic touch" and they all think

they are buying the car of their life.

They have the (very) best promotion and after sales

But The only advantages they have, is safety (nowadays they all do)

Very quality interior (i like driving not having a Gala in my car).

Ergonomy.

We used to own a Rover 214 Si   91'mod.

For it's time it was a good looking car, well equiped and we are

fans of the English cars.

The Rover turned to be a disaster choice (silly prob. all the time)

and we got rid of it.

And the bad thing was that i wanted that car.

So i know what you mean..

Nissan will not fail you and it will make your day!

it will start EVERY day and it will take you EVERYWHERE!

P.s. Don't buy German car.......

P.s.2 They must have the most expensive service in th world..

Cause someone has to pay for the promotion and th after sales..!!!!

Maybe you should get rid of "your troubles"...

Nissan will not fail you (except from the fact that is not so

"steady" above 80mph and "windy" days..!

Note is my first Nissan and the despite of the first plan was to

"trade" Note with Megane Coupe' with my folks, i liked it so

much, that i kept it for my self!

thanks again notefever.
hhmmm over 80 mph unsteady..

i spent over 4 months looking far a new car that felt right for me!! within price range ..

i tried the megane coupe nice drive in it but was the same as all the new peugeots , found it hard to get into and out of.

never been keen on fords after they stopped the cortina.

i never tried the clio, untill they lent me 1, never liked the dull shape to it,maybe if i had it would have been a toss up with the tekna. though i know the tekna would still win lol as it ticks all the right boxes.

i still have my townace 4x4 auto,for family days out. a vauxhall omega 2.5td tracktor.lol a work horse,and fishing trips/days.

my classic car a 1958 wolseley1550D yep diesel in english white. very nice. though im thinking of handing it down to my son now as she is to much for me now.
just scrapped a toyota camry 2.0lt auto estate. some of todays kids broke into garage she was in and smashed every bit of glass slashed tires etc just for the fun of it.she was spotless no rust flew through every MOT.she was snow white.
and lastly i just sold my two yamaha's 125 tzr's which kept me feelling young.lol with the boyracers.lmao

Your motorhistory is full of beautiful wheels!

I envy your TZR's...

I almost buy one, but now i regret regreting (then) and not buying it..!

I bought Cagiva Supercity 125 and i've spended most of the

time, trying to make it work(!)

When it did, it made you smile (but only when it did start!)
