i think the way he put it to me was that the grade i was looking for is fully sythetic and lasts longer, or something like that. Only problem is, if you want to change the dex3 out now, you need the full sump removed, filter changed, and the convertor bled. I found this out after i had spent more money buying the correct fluid (which i paid £28 for and never used, still sitting in garage) cos when you drain the box, the convertor doesnt empty. As that holds mot of the fluid, you would only be changing the bit of fluid in the sump/reservoir, then ultimately, it would mix with the stuff in the convertor.

not sure mate, ive mixed it, there wasnt any difference.
