Hi everyone, just joined, will be having my new NOTE Tekna around about the 15th Oct. yes its the Manual Diesel 1.5 in Black.
I have been looking at one for a while, but nissan have been having a swap around with some models, so i may or may not get the rear trays or arm rests .
i have asked for door handles and rear boot part to be black but as yet i not been told if i can...
cant wait now.
hope everyone is well and happy with thier own cars.
If anyone has any info on the note please dont be shy (i dont bite)
wonder how good they are on long runs? and fuel (mpg)etc etc
hope to read a few topics later on.
oh i do hope i have the new updated maps as mine is being built now.
im sure i read somewhere they asking £500 for the new map update. WOW!!!
Nice to be here hope to chat soon.. Andy..

Since you have Diesel, you don't have to worry about refueling!

Big Torque, makes it easy to drive and you don't need to

shift often..!

I believe your version comes with black/red interior only.

The tekna comes fully colour coded and the trays and arm in the back as standard (with 2 in the front too)

The connect sat nav uses an sd card for the maps whats around £150-200 for an updated older sat nav dvd system are £3-500 for a disc, poi and speed camera updates are a doddle todo with a usb stick, I,m working on the sat nav software to see if it can be modded

the rear spoiler option seems cheap till you find out is plus paint and fitting

Mines a 1.6 tekna (petrol) whats coming up to a year old no prob's so far on a long run (400+ miles) i had 50 mpg+

The nissan mats are a good buy

The folding mirrors are useful so are the no end of storage places (didnt twig the passenger seat lifted up untill 4-5 after i got it)

The back seat has lots of options (same mech as the modus what lifts so you have a totally flat load) yet to find this out on the note tho

the split load floor in the boot comes in handy esp when out shopping

hi flash22,  thanks for the info on the note, so if your having around 50 mpg+ on a good run what should the diesel do on same trip?
i did have a look at the rear spoiler but thought Nah not for me (maybe the kids would like it)
be great to find out what i think of the satnav i am used to IGO think its better than tomtom.though tomtom has more voices .. which i do like.i have a 7inch satnav in the car at the mo,which has i think 5 makes of satnav i can use, fold out screen type. shame to see it go.
the nissan mats are they the ones from the dealer or from another source!!!
thats one of the reasons i went for the tekna was the folding mirror, also the rear parking bleeper.
i must say the site has been usefull so far i hope i can add something to it later on after i have had my note !! Just hope the kids dont pinch it off me...

The mats are the proper nissan ones, only once had the sat give my duff directions via post code tbf it was the middle of the linconshire country side

only 1 english voice comes with the nissan nav (another thing im playing with) the nav its self is based around a bosch design and the nav runs on a system like the garmin navi

only problem i have with the note is filling up with petrol i tend to pull the bonnet release instead of the filler cap release what are side by side bit of a design flaw me thinks lol

I think your version

would be like this:

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

and the interior would be something like that:

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

This is the pre-facelift version, so there are differences.

the seats are the same, except the color.

And the F/L interior pic:

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

If you (in UK) are using the same interior codes with us (in Greece)

Your seats should be black with red stiches.

I wouldn't recomend spoilers, skirts, etc,

cause you can easily damage them on ramps..

I envy your wheels, torque and interior guys...!

Ok, i'll probably find wheels from an SV7 Micra and paint them

white before using them.

Torque, and interior probably is gonna stay as it is for now!

Thanks for the pictures notefever. she does look good.

must say the petrol and bonnet catches do look a bit daft so close. never noticed that.

think engine going up to 90bhp,

not too keen on the wheels may change them for black or white, put white wall tyres on it too, if they are still around.

when did they stop the headlamp washers??

You re Welcome!

The official specs (from Nissan Gr) are:

1.4lt Engine -> 88hp, 12.8 Nm (torque)

1.6lt Engine ->110hp 15.3Nm

And for diesel:

1.5lt Engine -> 100hp 24Nm

The last 2 engines are exactly the same with Qash, except

the gearbox ratios.

Greek versions never had headlamp washers, so i don't know

the awnser for that...
